An Indie-folk band that was started by the duo: Gil Landau and Yael Shoshana Cohen.
When you listen to LolaMarsh music, you are drawn into a perfect experience of a vast and thoughtful production, where the writing is a necessary part of its existence. The show itself feels like a wonderful dream from which you don’t want to awake. Yael’s deep, warm and slightly nostalgic voice, combined with narrative words and original melodies bring the listener into a special fantasy-filled world. After a period of studying music, the duo met and began writing, recording, and at the same time performing together. Their shows combine computerized sounds along with folkloric melodies and lyrical songs.
After a year and a half of working together the duo met Mati Gilad (Bass) who joined the project and brought with him new spirit and opened the door to a wider production. After him came Rami Osservaser (Guitar, Piano) and a short time later- Dekel dvir (Drums). The three newcomers aren’t new to the world of music in Israel and together with Gil and Yael have created powerful and surprising arrangements which greatly enhance the musical production.
Now, after 2 years of performing, writing songs and finding the right band members (and also taking a little time off for Yael to take part in the Israeli version of “The Voice”) they are working on their first album.
