The Yellow Submarine was established in 1991 as a non-profit organization in order to promote musicians and music in a wide variety of genres.
In the Yellow Submarine you will find a performances hall, recording studio and rehearsal rooms. The Yellow Submarine operates a number of educational programs such as regional music program for high school students; young ensembles project which operate in full symbiosis with the performances club.
We, at the Yellow Submarine believe that there is a deep bond between musical education to consumption of quality music.
We believe that if we focus on the educational aspect and promote musicians who take their craft seriously, it will sink and reach to the consumers and ultimately increase the demand for quality music.
Israel in general and Jerusalem in particular are an amazing habitat for excellent musicians operating in a variety of genres. Multi-disciplinary is especially prominent in Israel since musicians from this part of the world grow and develop under the influence of many different types of music. This is also why all over the world people love and appreciate Israeli music and musicians, it simply combines many flavors which cook together into a unique musical stew…
We are excited to have you with us, together with our partners: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Cultural Affairs and Science, the Ministry of Culture and the Jerusalem Foundation – founder of the Yellow Submarine.
Enjoy your visit and thank you for coming!
