Helen Sildna

Helen has been involved with music industry for over 14 years as an Estonian-based promoter and artist booker and a spokesperson for the new generation of local music entrepreneurs. She is the founder and director of Tallinn Music Week, an annual talent showcase festival and music industry conference in Tallinn, Estonia. She also runs and owns a music promotion company Musiccase and is an active member of various cultural development associations.

In 2009 she established a music promotion company, Musiccase with an aim to see more interesting international artists in Estonia and help Estonian acts start their careers abroad. Musiccase has promoted events like Kumu ÖÖ (2006-2011), experimental music and visual arts festival at the national art center of Tallinn. Among some international artists that Musiccase has promoted: Morrissey, Air, SigurRos, Patti Smith, Feist, Swans, ReginaSpektor to mention a few.

Helen is the founder and director of Tallinn Music Week, an annual talent showcase festival and music industry conference since 2009, that has grown into one of the biggest festivals of its kind the Baltic-Nordic region today, serving as a tool to encourage professionalism and growth of the region’s music business, and hosting around 200 artists of different genres and nationalities, around 800 notable industry professionals and over 20 000 festival visitors. TMW also runs international marketing for Estonian music, coordinates Estonian presence at international industry events and has production credits on various local and international events.
