Aaron Kimathi Rimbui started off his performance career in 2001. During this time he has performed with a host of artists including Bobby Rickets, Emmanuel Jal, Lionel Loueke, Suzanne Owiyo, Eric Wainaina, Morris ‘Mo’ Pleasure among many others.
Aaron has also opened for leading artistes including Hugh Masekela, Richard Bona and Gerald Albright.
He has 2 albums to date: the first Keys of Life released December 2005 and his second, Alfajiri released June 2009.
Aaron has been one of the pivotal forces of the jazz culture in Kenya playing a vital role in popularizing jazz music. He produces a much loved and highly successful jazz concert in Nairobi city dubbed ALL THAT JAZZ.
All That Jazz has enjoyed immense success as the leading jazz event in Nairobi.
All That Jazz has staged 12 Concerts over a span of 3 Years in the great city of Nairobi. These concerts have showcased the very best of African entertainment in jazz and world music featuring on its stage acts from Mali (Moussa Diallo) Uganda (Maurice Kirya), Dawdah Jobarteh (The Gambia), Eric Wainaina (Kenya) among many others.
Aaron had also worked as Music Director for other jazz concerts in Kenya Including Safaricom International Jazz Festival and Jazz Under The Stars.
