From 1987 to 1990, Andrew Campbell worked as a freelance journalist/photographer in both East and West Berlin, covering mainly the famous West Berlin “Jazz Fest” and similar events on both side of the city.
In 1990, Andrew hired on with Sony Music Germany in charge of radio promotion and artist development, remaining with them until 1992. Following this, Andrew, together with his partner Jan Jaedike founded Gordeon Music Promotion in 1992.
In 2007 Andrew Campbell started also working as a music publisher (Edition JA / Meisel Musik Verlag) and since 2009 as an independent label named G-Records (Rough Trade). In 2012 Andrew finally opened up the artist management company G-Management.
Since then Gordeon Music, Edition JA, G-Management and G-Records with his partners became one of the key players in the independent music scene in Germany.
Gordeon Music Promotion is in business for approximately 21 years now. Gordeon is doing press, radio and online publicity nationwide, but also for GAS and Europe. The headquarter of Gordeon is in Berlin and they work with partner agencies in Hamburg, Cologne and Munich.
The company is working more or less all kind of music styles with a team up to 9 promoters.
Edition JA is a young, very active music publishing company with a very nice and unique catalogue, including all kind of music genres like pop, rock, singer-songwriter, folk, jazz, indie, electro, metal and hiphop from all over the world.
G-Records is a distribution service providing company doing digital and physical distribution throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also for all over Europe. G-Records is signed to Rough Trade Germany. We are taking care of your releases as consultants and product managers.
G-Management is an artist management company working worldwide for bands like BETZEFER (IL), SURFACT (DK), KÄRTSY (FI) and FEEL ABOUT (IL) at the moment.
